Let it spin!

So you've bought a case and you're building a computer. Perhaps you've even picked something interesting from the Volcano cases, which come with fans installed as standard. But as a fan of quiet and cool, and maybe even RGB lighting 😉, you're planning to tune up the whole computer somehow.

The solution is simple: fit additional fans. Firstly, you can never have too many, especially when you set their speed curve in the BIOS and reduce how fast they spin. They then run more quietly and turn more slowly, but with several of them they can still cool all your components effectively.

What's more, if you're a fan of LED RGB lighting, you can configure the whole set really nicely. You don't always need LED strips and other "gimmicks" to set up great lighting.

Volcano APEX ARGB Fans meet all these needs. Available in 120 mm and 140 mm versions, they stand out for their smooth, quiet running (thanks to FDB bearings and anti-vibration pads) and their ability to generate optimal static pressure for the best possible airflow. What's more, the ring lighting looks really great here, underlining their gaming purpose. It also lights up your whole desk and setup, making gaming after dark enjoyable with an attractive glow of colour coming from the computer.

With case designs becoming ever more original, including dual-chamber cases, we can't forget fans with reversed blades. Those in the Volcano APEX ARGB Fan series are marked "reversed" and work brilliantly when mounted on the side of the case, pushing cool air into the computer. Examples include the Volcano Space and Volcano Panorama cases, where fans with reversed blades help keep the whole computer cool.

Extra fans in a computer bring nothing but benefits. It's worth making the most of everything they offer.
